Homework for the 23rd February was to create an image inspired by four words drawn at random from a ‘studio light cover’ of course! …
The words I drew out were ‘Man’, ‘Phone’, ‘Happiness’ and ‘Outdoors’. As Claire was skiving I drew out ‘Mysterious’, ‘Water”, Woman’ and ‘Letter’ for her and predictably we each thought the others words were easier!
Hmmm, ‘Man’, ‘Phone’, ‘Happiness’ and ‘Outdoors’ – thinking cap required!
Suddenly I remembered the street photography I shot in Rome the first week of Feb, a couple of weeks ago. Although it was our 30th Wedding Anniversary I spent a lot (too much apparently…) of time doing street; I blame the course, my wife blames me; she should know me by now!
See Lynne, it wasn’t pointless after all; I got my homework done!
All three pictures below were taken by the famous Trevi Fountain where people want to capture special happy moments together. The Trevi Fountain featured in Roman Holiday a 1953 black and white classic film starring Gregory Peck and Audrey Hepburn and that is a shameless link to my second project on the course – to recreate Hepburn’s famous studio portraits!
And I had to include this one…. kids!
