Homework this week was 5 Street or 5 Documentary Photos; weather and apathy won!!!!
However, back in 2013 I gave it a go in central Manchester using a Nikon D300s crop camera with a 50mm f1.8 fixed focal length (75mm effective on a crop camera). Exposure was set manually to 1/500s at f4 with auto ISO (mostly 400-800) to expose correctly.
They pics seemed to work better processed to black and white. It suited the urban feel and the tradition of street photography.
I stayed fairly central and shot the world walking by. Nerve wracking but good fun.
